# FXR Script House Rules

Welcome to **FXReplay Script**, the home for traders, coders, and investors who build and share **Custom Indicators**. As you can imagine, managing a community of thousands of scripts and millions of traders requires thoughtful rules to prevent chaos and keep things professional. These rules apply to everyone — including you — and they exist to encourage respectful collaboration, protect users from harm, and ensure FXReplay remains a trusted environment.

By publishing an indicator or interacting with others, you’ve already agreed to follow these rules. Don’t ignore them. Help us build a space where creativity thrives, ideas are respected, and every trader feels welcome. Let’s **build, not break.**

### The Rules

#### 1. Make your ideas understandable

When you publish a Custom Indicator, take the time to make it clear:

* Write a title that actually explains what it does.
* Provide a thoughtful description, so people understand not just the “how,” but the “why.”
* If your idea has no reasoning or practical use, maybe it’s not ready for prime time.

Remember: your script is your voice in the community — make it heard clearly.

#### 2. This is a no-ad zone

Let’s cut right to it: FXReplay is about **trading ideas, not advertising boards.**

All forms of content must be **100% ad-free** — and we mean everything:

* Published indicators
* Release notes
* Comments, chats, and messages
* Code itself (yes, even sneaky links in the comments section)

Banned items include: ads, logos, links to outside websites, social media handles, email addresses, wallet addresses, giveaways, prize contests, and any kind of solicitation.

**The only exception:** Premium subscribers may include contact links in their **Signature field** (which sits neatly under each publication).

#### 3. No fundraising, ever

FXReplay is a place for sharing market thinking and trading tools — not for raising money. No donation links, no “support me here” buttons, no crowdfunding pitches.

Want to fundraise? There are platforms built for that. This isn’t one of them.

#### 4. Speak the right language

Language barriers don’t help anyone. To keep things useful:

* Publish your content in the **same language as the FXReplay site you’re on.**
* Indicator titles must always be in **English.**
* Descriptions should start in English, but can then include translations into other languages.

That way, more traders around the world can understand your brilliant ideas.

#### 5. Only share what’s yours

This should go without saying, but here we are: **don’t plagiarize.**

* Indicators must be your own work.
* If you adapt someone else’s script, you must **get permission first** and **credit them properly.**
* Don’t copy-paste someone else’s code and slap your name on it. That’s not just lazy, it’s a one-way ticket to getting banned.

Be original and be respectful.

#### 6. Be nice (seriously)

We shouldn’t have to say this, but here it is anyway: **treat people how you want to be treated.**

* Be respectful, kind, and constructive, even when you disagree.
* Healthy debate is encouraged — trolling is not.
* Negativity, swearing, personal attacks? Useless. Don’t waste your time (or ours).

Remember: good vibes attract good traders.

#### 7. *Zero Tolerance for Disrespect*

* We don’t play games with disrespect.
* That means no hate speech, no harassment, no discrimination, and no political grandstanding. You’re free to disagree with ideas—but never allowed to attack people.
* This is a place to grow as a trader, not stir up conflict. One warning, and you’re gone.

#### 8. Post thoughtfully

Quality matters. Indicators should be:

* Relevant, accurate, and safe
* Free from misleading or harmful content
* Free from “chart spam” (emoji floods, text walls, CAPS LOCK OVERLOAD, or duplicate posting)

If your script doesn’t improve the community, it probably doesn’t belong here.

#### 9. Respect the moderators

Our mods are like referees in a heated trading match. They’re volunteers, they deal with trolls daily, and they’re just trying to keep the game fair.

* Don’t fight them in public.
* Don’t insult or argue with them in private messages either.
* If you disagree, file a polite, level-headed complaint via DM.

Disrespect the mods, and your account may be suspended. Simple.

#### 10. One trader, one account

We see you, sock-puppeteers. Don’t create fake accounts, duplicate accounts, or accounts to work around a ban. Use your real one.

Otherwise? Ban hammer.

#### 11. Don’t game the system

FXReplay’s reputation system is here to help highlight valuable contributors. That means:

* No like-for-like exchanges
* No follow-for-follow schemes
* No bot accounts or spammy activity

If your reputation is artificially inflated, it’s worthless. Earn it the real way.

#### 12. Vendors and brokers need the right accounts

If you’re selling services, charging for scripts outside FXReplay, or acting as a vendor, you must follow our **Vendor Requirements.**

If you’re a **broker, institution, or bank**, you’ll need a special account type. Reach out to our team — we’ll get you set up properly.

#### 13. Report misuse

See something shady? Use the **report button.** Don’t argue with the offender. Don’t call them out publicly. Let the mods handle it.

#### 14. Yes, sometimes we break our own rules

Occasionally, we’ll highlight content that bends (or even breaks) the rules — because we think it adds value to the community.

But here’s the thing: these exceptions are rare, and they don’t apply to you. Don’t copy them. Breaking the rules will still get you banned.

#### 15. Be a hero

Life is short. Don’t waste your precious energy scamming, trolling, or being a downer.

Instead, be one of the good ones:

* Share knowledge
* Help others improve
* Make the community better than you found it

FXReplay will always recognize and reward those who **push back the darkness** and bring light to this community.

#### 16. Legal note (a boring but important one)

By publishing on FXReplay, you guarantee that your indicator:

* Isn’t prohibited by law
* Doesn’t constitute official investment advice
* Isn’t designed solely for “qualified investors”

Basically: keep things legal, fair, and safe.

### Final Notes

These rules cover **all parts of FXReplay**: published indicators, comments, chat, messaging, and updates. Other specific rules may apply to different features. It’s your responsibility to know and follow them.

* [Script publishing rules](/house-rules-fxr-script/script-publishing-rules.md)
* How do I become a moderator? (Coming Soon)

Publishing indicators here is not a right — it’s a privilege granted to those who respect FXReplay’s values. Break the rules, and you risk losing that privilege.

**Thanks for reading. Let’s make FXReplay the best place for traders, coders, and investors to collaborate.**\
